Free PDF tools for everyday documents

The free PDF workspace covers three practical jobs: build a PDF from photos, merge existing PDF documents, and extract selected pages in a chosen order. It needs no account and adds no QBMFX watermark. Processing happens locally. Freelancers can prepare a branded handover, developers can assemble documentation, and everyday users can organize photographed paperwork without treating this as a full document editor.

For everyday users: turn photos into a readable sequence

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP photos. On a supported phone, the capture input may open the camera; on another browser it may show a file picker. Arrange images with the up and down buttons. Rotate in 90-degree steps, trim edge percentages, and adjust brightness, contrast or grayscale manually. The tool does not automatically detect corners or correct perspective.

For a three-page delivery note, put each photo in reading order, choose A4 portrait and a margin such as 12 mm, then create the PDF. Inspect the first and last page as well as the middle page. Cropping can remove useful information, and a screen preview alone does not establish that a document is complete or readable at its intended print size.

For freelancers: add your own presentation details

Use an optional header, footer, PNG or JPG logo and page numbers when the recipient needs a branded document. The layout reserves space for those elements and fits photos without stretching. There is no requirement to display QBMFX branding in the output. A plain document is also possible by leaving branding blank and disabling page numbers.

Branding text currently accepts ASCII/Latin characters through the supplied standard font. Urdu and other general Unicode text are not supported in that workflow. Photos are rendered as JPEG images with the longest side limited to 2400 pixels. That is useful for image-based documents, but it is not OCR, searchable text generation or a guarantee of preservation for a print-critical original.

For developers: assemble only what a reader needs

You can combine PDF documentation by selecting files and using the ordering arrows. Page copying produces a new combined document. It does not author headings, a table of contents or navigation bookmarks for you. Keep the source PDFs and inspect the output, particularly when the inputs contain interactive forms, attachments or signatures.

Extraction is a separate workflow. In a five-page source, 1,3-5,2 produces pages 1, 3, 4, 5 and 2. The page list refers to physical positions in the source file, not printed numbering inside the artwork. Repeated positions can be included, while zero, out-of-range positions and descending ranges are rejected.

What the free workspace does not do

This release does not provide PDF-to-Word conversion, general PDF compression, automatic perspective correction or text recognition. A PDF created from a photo remains image-based. Selecting a page is not secure redaction: anything still present on that selected page remains part of the output. Do not rely on page extraction to remove confidential text inside a page.

Encrypted or damaged inputs are unsupported, and copied pages may not preserve signatures, forms, bookmarks or attachments as expected. Memory is another practical boundary: a large collection can be too much for a phone even though there is no daily usage quota. Use smaller jobs and keep untouched originals.

Report a document issue clearly

Use Contact with PDF workspace selected. Say whether the problem occurred during photo preparation, merging or extraction. Include the chosen paper size or page list and the error message. Describe a reproducible example rather than sending personal documents. The step-by-step guide explains the controls, while support feedback goes privately to the business inbox.

Free multi-file preparation for client work

A freelancer preparing an expense packet can collect the relevant receipt photos, rotate them, use manual adjustments where needed and arrange them in the required order. Review the preview before creating the PDF, then reopen the downloaded document. Check that dates and totals are readable, pages face the right way and no unrelated personal information remains. Manual adjustments can improve presentation, but they do not recognize text or make a photographed receipt searchable.

For an existing document with at least five pages, the extraction range 1,3-5,2 creates a result ordered as page 1, pages 3 through 5, then page 2. This is useful when a recipient needs a specific sequence rather than the original document. The range is an explicit instruction, so verify the resulting page count and order. Keep the source separate, particularly if it contains signatures, form fields or other interactive features that copied pages may not preserve.

Developers and everyday users can review the same deliverable

A developer can prepare a sample PDF for a document upload interface without adding a conversion backend to the application. An everyday user can combine selected photo pages into a single file for sharing. Both should check the output in the actual reader or portal where it will be used. Free preparation does not guarantee that a portal accepts the document, that fonts or interactive features are preserved, or that a scanned page becomes accessible text. Use the workspace for its implemented assembly and page-selection controls, then confirm the final document meets its purpose.
